As Principal of Sacred Heart NS, Williamstown, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school’s website. We hope to give you a small insight into the wonderful opportunities that are afforded to the children who attend Sacred Heart NS, Williamstown.

Our school is a co-educational, vertical one (Junior Infants to 6th Class) providing education to over 110 children. We are lucky to have a staff of 7 teachers, 2 SNA's and our secretary Teresa. They are talented, enthusiastic and professional people who place the interests of our pupils at the centre of everything they do. In addition to our school staff, we have our afterschool staff, who cater for the children who attend our Breakfast Club and Afterschool services. We are very lucky in Sacerd Heart NS, Williamstown to be supported by an amazing Parents’ Association and the wider Williamstown parish community. The school is governed by a dedicated group of volunteers in the form of our Board of Management. The Board, under the patronage of the Archbishop of Tuam, is headed by Paul Kennedy.

We are all extremely proud of our pupils and are constantly amazed by their abilities and talents. We will endeavour to continue to nurture and develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of the world around them. We look forward to what the future will bring for our community and are sure Sacred Heart NS, Williamstown will continue to be a caring, welcoming and supportive school for many years to come.
