There was a major Garda operation underway this morning in Williamstown NS with sightings of criminals, ghost, cowboys, and even aliens. Thankfully we have friends in the right places and Garda Mitchell and her colleagues came to talk to the boys and girls about what Gardai do with a special emphasis for our senior classes about being safe at Halloween. Thanks to Garda D and Garda Mitchell for providing the boys with great info on the risks that fireworks and bonfires can have. And as you can see from the photos, they all had a great time with the Public Order Van and the unmarked and marked Garda cars. Unfortunately Mr. Smyth had a few outstanding warrants and was locked away for some of the day. He hopes to be out by hometime on good behavious.  A huge thank you to Roscommon Garda station and Garda Mitchell for organising.
